1982年8月12日、東京生まれ。
音楽家にして作家にしてときどき俳優。
詩人であり、全身表現者であり、人間の内面をえぐり出す 「いま、もっとも気持ち悪い男」。

2011年“トラウマテクノポップ”バンド・アーバンギャルドのヴォーカル、コンセプターにしてリーダーとしてメジャーデビュー。多くの歌詞を担当し、ポップかつ実験的、独特な言語世界を構築。
2015年、早川書房より「自撮者たち」を発表し作家活動を開始。またNHK Eテレ『Let’ｓ天才てれびくん』より俳優としても活動開始。
2017年、よりディープな詩世界、男性性に踏み込んだキャリア初のソロアルバム『松永天馬』をリリース。バンドと並行してソロ活動を本格化。
2018年、初の長編映画『松永天馬殺人事件』を監督・脚本・音楽・主演。新人映画の登竜門「MOOSICLAB2018」にてミュージシャン賞、男優賞のほか、余りにも規格外な内容であることから急遽新設された「松永天馬賞」を受賞後、劇場公開。
2019年、タワーレコード内にプライベートレーベル「TEN RECORDS」発足。第一弾としてセカンドソロアルバム『生欲』リリース。
2022年、ソロデビュー五周年を記念し、キャリア初の四十七都道府県ツアー「四十七人の天馬」を敢行。更にサードアルバム『不惑惑惑』リリース。
2024年、最新シングルは川本真琴とコラボした『君とフランベ feat.川本真琴』。
2025年、中島らも遺作を島田角栄監督が映画化した長編『デコチン』で主演を務める。
自作詩を朗読して勝敗を決める「詩のボクシング」の世界チャンピオンタイトル保持者でもあり、ジャンルを越境して多岐にわたって活動する全身表現者。
そして2026年、待望の4thアルバム「黒一点」リリース。元ピチカートファイヴの野宮真貴とのコラボレーションソング「日本の事情」などを収録。

TEMMA MATSUNAGA

Born August 12, 1982, in Tokyo.

A musician, writer, and occasional actor.

A poet, a holistic expressive, and "the most unsettling man right now," who delves into the inner workings of the human psyche.

In 2011, he made his major debut as the vocalist, conceptor, and leader of the "trauma techno-pop" band Urbangarde. He writes many of the lyrics, constructing a unique linguistic world that is both pop and experimental.

In 2015, he began his writing career with the publication of "Jidori-sha-tachi" (Selfie Takers) from Hayakawa Publishing. He also began his acting career on NHK E-tele's "Let's Tensai Terebi-kun."

In 2017, he released his first solo album, "Matsunaga Tenma," which delved deeper into his poetic world and masculinity. He began his solo career in earnest, alongside his band activities.

In 2018, he directed, wrote, composed the music for, and starred in his first feature film, "The Matsunaga Tenma Murder Case." At "MOOSICLAB2018," a prestigious competition for new filmmakers, he won the Musician Award, the Best Actor Award, and the newly established "Matsunaga Tenma Award" due to the film's unconventional nature. The film then received a theatrical release.

In 2019, he launched his private label, "TEN RECORDS," within Tower Records. His first release was his second solo album, "Seiyoku" (Desire for Life).

In 2022, to commemorate the fifth anniversary of his solo debut, he embarked on his first-ever 47-prefecture tour, "47 Tenma." He also released his third album, "Fuwakuwakuwaku" (Unwavering Desire).

In 2024, he released "Kimi to Flambé feat. Makoto Kawamoto," a collaboration with Makoto Kawamoto.

In 2025, he starred in "Dekochin," a feature film directed by Shimada Kakuei, based on the posthumous work of Nakajima Ramo.

He is also the world champion of "poetry boxing," a competition where contestants recite their own poems to determine the winner, and is a full-fledged expressive artist who transcends genres and engages in a wide range of activities. 

Then, in 2026, the long-awaited 4th album "KOKUITTEN" (One Black Point) was released. It includes "Nihon no Jijou" (Japanese Circumstances), a collaboration song with Maki Nomiya, formerly of Pizzicato Five.
